The Cause

The Georgian Bay Land Trust is dedicated to the preservation of land along the eastern shore and North Channel of Georgian that has ecological, geological and historical importance. This section of Georgian Bay is an internationally recognized UNESCO biosphere reserve. Please visit the biosphere website for more information.

During the past 30 years Patrick has watched as development and increased recreational use have begun to threaten this pristine wilderness. Patrick feels that the GBLT is making a real and measurable difference on Georgian Bay by continuing to secure and protect significant properties.
