Paddle For The Bay Expedition

Beginning on July 1st, 2008, kayaker Patrick Stark will be circumnavigating Georgian Bay to raise money for the Georgian Bay Land Trust (GBLT). Patrick hopes to raise $5000 for the GBLT, $5 for every kilometer he paddles during his 1000km, 40 day expedition. The Georgian Bay Land Trust is a not-for-profit, registered charity, whose goal is to protect the uniqueness of the eastern shore and North Channel of Georgian Bay through the securement and on-going stewardship of land that has ecological, geological and historical importance. Through this work, the GBLT works to educate and promote the importance of this area.
